History of UIBC

Umoja International Bible College (UIBC) was established in 2021 by Umoja International Outreach Church as part of its commitment to equip men and women for faithful Christian ministry. The college was founded in response to the growing need for sound biblical and practical ministry training among those who desire to serve effectively in the work of God. From the beginning, the vision was to create a training institution that would prepare believers through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and leadership development.

The purpose of UIBC was never limited only to Africans in the Diaspora. While one of its key goals has been to train pastors and church leaders from within the African immigrant community, the college was also established to serve men and women on the African continent who desire proper preparation for ministry. For this reason, UIBC has grown into a learning community that includes students both in the Diaspora and in Africa, with a particularly strong presence in East Africa.

Through its online programs in Leadership and Practical Ministry, UIBC has made ministry training accessible to students across different countries and contexts. Since its establishment, the college has trained over 100 leaders in the United States, Canada, and Africa. By equipping these students for ministry, UIBC continues to raise a new generation of servants who are prepared to spread the Gospel, strengthen the Church, and serve their communities with biblical conviction and practical ministry competence.
