A required 3-month preparatory program for every student who wishes to enter the Bachelor of Leadership and Practical Ministry.
This requirement applies to UIBC Diploma graduates, transfer students from other seminaries, Bible colleges, and universities, and those entering with a high school qualification. The purpose of the Bridge Course is to ensure that all incoming Bachelor students begin with a strong and unified foundation in academic work, ministry practice, and communication.
This program is foundational because bachelor-level study requires more than interest in ministry — it requires academic readiness, theological discipline, practical ministry awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively. The Bridge Course helps students strengthen these areas so they can succeed in advanced studies and serve with greater confidence and competence.
The Bridge Course is not simply an admission formality. It is an important step in preparing students for the demands of the Bachelor of Leadership and Practical Ministry. By completing this program, students gain the academic tools, ministry foundations, and communication skills necessary for higher-level study. It also helps ensure that students from different educational backgrounds begin the Bachelor's program with greater readiness, confidence, and a common foundation for success.
